Who We Are
Webhive Digital is a boutique digital marketing agency specialising in search engine optimisation (SEO) and website design. Starting out as a small team of one, in the last two years, we have grown to a team of six, and now we're looking to add another member to our team! We work with B2B & B2C clients in healthcare, automotive, logistics, education, investing, tech and more.
We are based in Great Notley, Essex.
What We're Looking For
We seek a talented and creative Web & Graphic Designer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in design / user experience and a passion for creating visually appealing and user-friendly designs.
In this position, you will work mainly on client-focused tasks but also support internal marketing efforts. As we are a small team, we adopt an "all hands on deck" approach when needed, with plenty of opportunity to learn other areas of digital marketing and support efforts in those areas.
We are looking for someone who thrives working as part of a close-knit team and has the versatility to switch between different projects seamlessly. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is creative, organised and pays attention to detail, with strong design skills and a good understanding of digital marketing.

Professional Skills required
- Experience creating professional website designs on WordPress using Elementor
- Strong mobile-responsive web design skills
- Experience creating & editing graphics with Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator / Canva
- Experience in best design practices for user experience & interfaces
Bonus but not essential skills :
Experience using Advanced Custom Fields & Custom Post Types plugins with Elementor to create dynamic page templatesExperience designing Shopify websites from pre-built themesExperience in website conversion rate optimisationExperience in technical SEO best practicesExperience in using tools like Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar, etc.Experience creating e-mail marketing templates in tools like MailChimp / ActiveCampaign / etcCode knowledge of any of the following languages : CSS, PHP, Liquid, jQuery, JavascriptExperience using Adobe XD to create interactive website design mockupsYour role will include the following tasks on a regular basis :
Creating website / page design mock-ups for new design projectsBuilding new website / page designs in WordPress or ShopifyAmending the design of website page layouts & Elementor templates for the copywriting team to use to upload their contentCreating new Elementor templates for the copywriting team to use to upload their contentCreating graphics for social media (i.e. carousels, cover images / thumbnails, reusable templates, etc.)Analysing website user journeys to find opportunities for design adjustments to improve journeys / conversionsCreating conversion optimised landing pagesOther graphic / web design tasks as required to fulfil client or internal marketing workLiaising with clients via email / message / phone regarding their requirements to send designs for approvalWork Schedule
Full time Mon-Fri but can be flexible for the right candidate (i.e. 9-3pm rather than 9-5pm or 4 days per week instead of 5).The role is in-house with the opportunity to do 1-2 days per week from home once familiar with the team, our clients, workload, etc.What We Offer
