Job Description
WeBranding Global, an NYC-based agency specializing in providing professional branding strategies for Asian companies aiming to achieve overseas business goals, is actively seeking a highly motivated, creative, and skillful individual for the role of a Branding/Graphic or Multimedia Designer. This person will bring to the table strong Graphic Design and Multimedia skills, working closely with our business, creative, marketing, and data leadership to echo the voice of diverse brands and appeal to various audiences.
The ideal candidate is experienced in both digital and print design, with a keen understanding of technical, business, and marketing concepts. This individual will work across digital, social media, and print on projects including site content, social assets, and printed collateral. In this role, the candidate will be expected to innovate and explore creative solutions while working within the brand aesthetic and overarching brand strategy. Collaborative work with differing points of view, alongside cross-functional teams, is key in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take projects from concept to final production with assigned teams.
- Draft mockups of website designs, brochures, media kits, iconography, and any other marketing materials required.
- Work with project managers, copywriting partners, and other design contributors to ensure delivery of assets are on-brief and timely.
- Present and explain design decisions and concepts confidently.
- Contribute to visual research for ongoing brand evolution.
- Management of social media profiles and programs.
- Assist in creation of marketing campaigns.
- Support requirements gathering, graphic design, and accessibility for digital products and experiences.
- Deliver engaging web experiences using the latest front-end technologies.
- Support the development of prototypes to test and iterate concepts based on feedback.
Requirements or Skill Sets:
- Bachelor's degree/related experience in graphic design, fine arts, marketing, or related field.
- Strong proven working experience with Adobe Products - Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator and video editing software such as Premiere and After Effects.
- Knowledge of Figma and TikTok is a Plus.
- Strong digital portfolio demonstrating good use of typography, design, and photography.
- Experience creating assets for social media.
- The ability to clearly communicate the reasoning behind design choices.
- Revise projects/tasks as necessary based on the collaborative feedback process.
- Bilingual: English & Mandarin is a plus.
