WebstaurantStore, a Clark Associates company, is growing! As a leading distributor of food service equipment and supplies, we value long-lasting relationships with our customers and great employees. We are currently hiring for multiple shifts for our Bloomsburg Distribution Center, which is a temperature-controlled distribution facility.
Basic Overview:
The Expeditor is responsible to assist each department in maintaining efficiency for the warehouse’s inventory accuracy and in the fulfillment of the customer’s order. Expeditors take ownership for completing an array of tasks in a timely manner, and they are held accountable for performing to the team’s standards. Expeditors are trained to carry out their job function working independently and effectively across teams and departments.
Job Responsibilities:
- Determine root causes for shipping delays on orders in the 876 shipping queue, and make all necessary inventory adjustments.
- Support the efficient fulfillment of our customer’s orders, and maintain information in the 876 logistic queue, ensuring accuracy and customer satisfaction
- Work directly with our external departments such as customer service, logistics, and purchasing to address questions or solve problems
- Collaborate with our internal shipping team and promote a clear line of communication on any issues
- Assist local warehouse staff to correct billing errors or resolve issues
- Analyze reporting to identify trends that can reduce damage to inventory and promote pick accuracy
- Flex to assist the department’s business needs in tasks or projects outside of the expeditor’s primary duties
- Actively looking for process improvements during daily work and partner with Team Leaders to implement change
- Assist in department training and shadowing
We’re looking for a candidate who will:
- Is willing to work in a fast-paced environment
- Has excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Is computer literate
- Can function as part of a team
- Is very detail oriented when it comes to completing their work
Skills/Abilities
- Must be able to push and pull up to 150lbs
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 to 75lbs
- Must be able to constantly bend, reach, climb and stand throughout shift
- Must be confident and comfortable operating equipment at heights up to 30 feet
Shift Schedule/Starting Rate
This shift is a 35.5 hour, 3-day schedule:
- Friday 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- Saturday 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
- Sunday 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM
Pay Range: Starting rate is $21.04- $27.54 p/hr, with a $0.25 raise after 60 days, plus up to $0.88 p/hr. in raises every 6 months (based on performance)
