Responsibilities:
Webster at Rye is seeking a Medication Nursing Assistant for the Assisted Living Unit! The MNA (Medication Nursing Assistant) position is designed for a Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) who has at least two years of full time employment as an LNA and who has completed an approved Medication Nursing Assistant Training Program.

Responsibilities:
- Follows physician orders and administers regularly scheduled oral, topical, suppository, nasal and ocular medications to residents who are clinically stable.
- Consults with the Nurse to assess a resident who requests a "prn" (as needed) medication.
- Reports to Nurse observations regarding changes in resident's status.
- Observes the five rights of medication administration.
- Ensures that Resident's medications are re-ordered in a timely fashion and are available for scheduled and prn administration.
- Provide fluids and nourishment for the residents.
- Maintain a safe, attractive, and comfortable environment for the residents, with special consideration to cleanliness, ventilation, lighting, repairs and furniture arrangement.
- Answer resident's call for assistance promptly.
- Report to the supervising nurse immediately if the resident complains, has a change in condition, or whenever other special needs arise.
- Transport residents as required to meals.
- Assume all other duties as assigned by the Charge Nurse.
- Medication Nurse Assistant (MNA) licensed by the State of New Hampshire.
- Experience in long-term care preferred but not required.
