We are seeking a highly experienced Data Compliance Director to lead our Privacy Risk Management program. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive compliance risk management program for privacy risk across Webster Financial Services and Webster Bank.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a compliance risk management program for privacy risk that aligns with federal and state regulations.
- Conduct research on federal and key state banking laws and regulations that address consumer data and data breach incident management.
- Maintain Webster's Privacy Policy and Program, tracking regulatory updates and revisions.
- Review and advise on procedures related to handling of consumer data, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Candidates must have at least 7-10 years of cumulative experience in Compliance, Risk, or Audit in financial services with responsibility for privacy compliance.
- A Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) or Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) certification is required.
- Candidates must possess strong written, verbal, and communication skills, particularly for presentations.
