This role matures our Risk Management practices and meets regulatory expectations. The Issue Management process for Credit Risk Management will be run, managing remediation of open issues, assisting in creating self-identified issues, and developing sustainable action plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Credit Risk Management leadership in creating self-identified issues.
- Monitor and ensure timely remediation by Issue Owners.
- Create Remediation Plans that address the root cause of issues.
- Provide effective challenge around the FLUs Issue Management process.
- Deliver ongoing communication and education to the Credit Risk organization.
- Assist in the development of the Credit Risk Management Program.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
Experience
- 6 years of experience in Risk or Audit functions, preferably in a banking environment.
- Ability to describe risk concepts to various audiences.
- Proven execution and leadership in dynamic environments with competing priorities.
- Curious nature with passion for process improvement.
- Detail oriented with strong project management and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated with minimal oversight.
