What are the responsibilities and job description for the Equipment Operator/Driver position at Webster County?
Webster County Road & Bridge is looking for an experienced Equipment Operator to work with a variety of equipment to maintain County roads, bridges, and right-of-ways. The successful candidate will be capable of operating a variety of equipment, conducting maintenance and repair work, and working effectively with others on the team.
Responsibilities:
- Work Independently and as part of a team.
- Inspect equipment to ensure that it is working properly.
- Be able to read a map and follow written directions.
- Perform minor repairs on heavy equipment.
- Turn on equipment, prepare it for use, and turn it off when done.
- Follow all applicable rules and regulations.
- Communicate with supervisors, co-workers, and residents via phone, radio, or in-person.
- Keep accurate records of equipment use.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.50 per hour
