Key Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and guests upon arrival, ensuring a positive experience from the start
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to phone calls, emails, and messages in a timely and professional manner
- Verify patient identification, demographic, and insurance information to ensure accuracy and confidentiality
- Schedule appointments and manage cancellations, changes, or delays to appointment status
- Verify insurance coverage and collect payments, making financial arrangements as needed
- Maintain a clean and comfortable waiting area, as well as an organized and clutter-free work environment
- Present treatment plan options and track case acceptance, coordinating follow-ups as necessary
- Run reports and track key performance indicators
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Exceptional customer service skills, including phone etiquette and independent thinking
- Strong computer skills and high level of organization
- Flexible schedule and willingness to serve the Practice
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree
- Previous experience in a dental/healthcare setting
- Working knowledge of medical terminology
