Primary Objective:
- Responsible for providing safe crossing at crosswalks for children in the proximity of schools.
Major Areas of Accountability:
- Directs and regulates the flow of traffic and supervises the crossing of streets during the hours when children are going to and returning from school.
- Ensures the safety of children in crossing busy streets.
- Controls vehicular traffic at a designated crossing to allow children to cross safely.
Hours of employment:
- 10 hours per week (2 hours per day)
