Primary Objective : Under the direction of the building principal, assist certified staff in supporting students; monitor and report student progress.
Essential Functions :
- Assist teachers with instruction of individual and small groups of students in the classroom
- Assist counselors in their support of students
- Assist with building supervision including but not limited to hallway, lunch, and recess
- Supports the Adventure Club program at Givens Elementary
- Other duties as assigned
Education : Minimum of sixty (60) college hours
Certification : Missouri teacher certification and / or substitute teacher certification preferred
Hours of Employment : Seven and a half (7.5) hours per day Instructional Aide and half hour (.5) of Adventure Club
Benefits : Eligible
FLSA Status : Non-exempt
