The Town of Webster is now accepting applications for talented, fun, hardworking candidates to be Summer Camp Counselors. Assignments include Camp Directors and Counselors for Pre-School Camp, Playground Camp, K-5 Camp, 6-8 Trip Camp and 5th Grade Trip Camp
Camp runs from June 25 - August 15
Typical Duties:
- Assist in organizing, demonstrating, and leading recreational camp activities.
- Group supervision of participants with attention to program, health, happiness, discipline, cleanliness, safety, character, and skill development.
- Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to be responsible, friendly, enthusiastic, patient, and willing to participate in group recreational activities
- Ability to be outgoing and comfortable working in a social environment
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be at least 15 years of age
- Ability to lift 25 lbs.
- Ability to sit, stand, maintain physical activity for extended periods of time in a variety of environments, indoors and outside.
Special Requirements
Background Checking: Applicants will be subject to a pre-employment background check and drug testing (18 years of age).
