Need a Part-Time Dietitian :
Schedule :
- 24 hour position with Monday and Thursday being the priority days and the other, not so concerned about which day!
- We offer part time benefits if needed.
Duties and responsibilities :
Assist the food services staff in the development and use of departmental procedures governing food service activities, equipment, supplies etc.Review and develop a plan of correction for any food service deficiencies noted during state / federal survey and provide written copy of such plan to the Administrator for approvalMaintain an ongoing quality assurance program for the Food Services DepartmentReview dietary requirements and / or restrictions of admitted patients in accordance with attending physician's diet plansAssist the Discharge Planning Coordinator in planning the food services portion of the resident's discharge planAssist in developing diet plans for individual residents and planning regular and specialized diets as prescribed by attending physicianTo join this team please have the following requirements :
Covid vaccine and booster shot requiredBachelor’s degree required.Active current registered Dietitian required.2 years of clinical experience preferred.Expertise in clinical nutrition, preferably geriatric rehab care practices in a skilled nursing setting.Possess knowledge of all applicable local, state and federal regulatory statues and guidelines pertaining to healthcare in the skilled nursing setting.We offer many exciting benefits :
