What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adult Education - Evening Beginner English for Speakers of Other Languages Teacher position at Webster Public Schools?
***This required hours for this position are Tuesday and Thursday 5PM-8:30PM.
The Evening Beginner ESOL classroom teacher will be responsible for
providing simultaneous Second Language Acquisition Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening
instruction to in-person and remote students, evaluating student progress, and adjusting instruction based
on formative assessment outcomes. Teachers will accomplish this by drawing upon professional
knowledge, research, and standards to respond to the needs of every student within their educational
context. Teachers will work together with the Assistant Director of Curriculum and Instruction and
Advisors to optimize student progress towards academic and personal goals. This position requires
teachers to teach to in-person and remote students in Webster on Tuesday and Thursday evenings
5:00PM-8:30PM.
