Webster Public School is seeking an Behavioral Coach / Interventionist for Park Ave Elementary. This position is responsible for supplementing and supporting behavioral initiatives of the Park Ave Elementary and Webster Public Schools. Responsibilities~ plan and conduct high quality professional development for school-based staff on the development and implementation of effective classroom management plans, evidence-based trauma sensitive behavior strategies, targeted interventionist and engagement strategies for diverse learners. ~ focus on increasing the skills of the regular classroom teacher to better meet the needs of the student with behavioral and/or emotional issues ~work collaboratively with the school administration and counselors to identify students in need of early behavioral intervention~ support school teams in collecting and analyzing behavioral data to effectively make decisions regarding the implementation of appropriate school wide behavioral interventions ~ meet regularly with teacher teams to analyze behavior data and develop strategies for all students to be successful in the classroom~ develop individualized plans to support and coach school-based staff related to student engagement, effective classroom management, evidence-based behavior strategies, and behavior intervention plans for students with and without special education needs~ support PBIS Tier 1 efforts and contribute to the development of tier 2 & 3 interventions~ conduct coaching cycles with school based staff related to effective classroom management ~ conduct informal FBA's as needed ~ collaborate with the Academic Instructional Coach to support teachers in overall classroom performance ~ collaborate with BCBA's in order to implement a continuum of behavior supports ~other duties as assigned by administration
