Description
To provide a strong musical partnership from the keyboard with vocal and/or instrumental
students in applied lessons, rehearsals and performances. This service greatly enhances the quality of performance from Webster University's undergraduate and graduate population.
Location:
Webster Groves Campus-WEBG
Minimum Qualifications
B.A. in Music: Piano Pertormance, Organ Performance, keyboard as major instrument (M.M
or M.A. preferred for coaching position).
Exceptional keyboard skills and collaborative ability
Nurturing attitude and patient demeanor to work effectively with students
Knowledge of Vocal and/or Instrumental Solo Repertoire
Language skills: French, German, Italian or Spanish a plus for Vocal Collaborators as is breadth of styles to include Musical Theatre/Pop
Jazz/Songwriting Collaborator must be well versed in the styles of Jazz and Contemporary Commercial Music
Preferred Qualifications
