This Mail and Scanning Processor is responsible for working in a fast-paced environment, handling all inbound and outbound mail and deliveries, sorting and scanning of medical forms, shredding, and other mailroom activities.
What You Will Be Doing
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to move objects. Jobs are sedentary if traversing activities are required only occasionally.

This Mail and Scanning Processor is responsible for working in a fast-paced environment, handling all inbound and outbound mail and deliveries, sorting and scanning of medical forms, shredding, and other mailroom activities.
What You Will Be Doing
- Open mail and print reports and faxes. (20%)
- Perform comprehensive detailed sorting of mail, reports and faxes. (40%)
- Scan all mail, reports and faxes according to specific types and instructions. (20%)
- Receive and log all special deliveries including FedEx, UPS, and certified mail. (5%)
- Distribute, deliver and assist with mail, packages and boxes internally. (5%)
- Support other departments in folding, stuffing and posting special mailings. (5%)
- Provide additional scanning support to other departments. (5%)
- General office skills requiring basic use of office equipment and a computer
- High school diploma or GED
- Knowledge of medical and dental claims preferred.
- Prior scanning experience preferred.
- Knowledge of mailroom equipment and shipping procedures preferred.
