The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of successful experience securing substantial capital, with the ability to raise funds up to $50 million. Must have previous experience identifying and establishing relationships with potential investors, including private equity firms, venture capitalists, institutional investors, and other financial institutions. Responsibilities include developing and implementing strategic plans to secure capital for M&A activities, leading fundraising efforts, and preparing / presenting compelling investment proposals, financial models, and business plans to potential investors.
Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough due diligence on potential investors and overseeing the end-to-end process of capital raising from initial contact through to the closing of funding deals. Coordination with legal, financial, and operational teams will be crucial to ensure seamless execution of capital acquisition transactions.
Building and maintaining long-term relationships with investors will be essential, as will representing the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings to build a strong network of potential investors. You will monitor and report on the progress of capital raising activities, prepare detailed financial reports for senior management, and provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis and market conditions to inform strategic decision-making.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field, with an MBA or CFA certification highly desirable. Must have excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Position can be based in San Francisco, Sacramento, Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, or Austin, TX.
