Job Summary and Responsibilities
The Engineer works under general supervision to provide Engineering support to field and staff personnel through a variety of projects and assignments. The Engineer also evaluates system performance through modeling, develops system designs, oversees construction, maintenance, and operations activities, investigates incidents, trouble-shoots systems and equipment, tests materials, and performs other assignments. These positions are for the Distribution Engineering and Compliance & Standards Engineering Teams.
As a Distribution Engineer, you will learn to :
- Work with a variety of analytical software to provide solutions to improve efficiency of natural gas transmission and distribution systems
- Understand the operation of gas facilities to properly supply natural gas to customers
- Develop designs for the installation of new facilities and the retirement of existing ones as a part of new pipeline construction program
- Ensure we are delivering a quality service to our customers
- Work with various stakeholders to ensure projects stay on schedule and budget
This position is part of the Engineering job family (Associate Engineer / Engineer / Senior Engineer). Experience will be the determining factor.
