Job Summary
The Engineering Supervisor leads a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and technical support staff, while also providing direct electrical engineering support on complex engineering projects.
Job Responsibilities
- Technical responsibility for scoping, specifying, developing, planning, justifying, coordinating, scheduling and executing a variety of projects that are complex in nature and require the application of engineering and project management skills
- Lead projects while managing forecasting, cost control, timely completion, as-built documentation process, and adherence to all regulatory requirements
- Plan and prioritize work activity schedules, resource allocation, and costing of labor to capital projects, etc.
- Audit work of team for accuracy, quality, completeness, compliance and record retention
- Train and mentor new engineers and technical staff
- Perform other department work as needed including, creation of Lock Out – Tag Out procedures for planned work, contractor oversight, assisting Operations & Maintenance with troubleshooting and addressing operational performance issues, and auditing of work for accuracy, quality, completeness, compliance and record retention
