WeCare at Jameson is actively seeking a motivated RN Admissions Nurse for our community in New Castle, PA. Our RN Admissions Nurse is a dynamic individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and ensure a thorough and welcoming admissions process for our new residents. RN Admissions Nurse oversees the quality of care and leads the team in enhancing the lives of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
- Welcomes new admissions and completes all necessary steps in the admissions process including but not limited to new resident orientation to facility, initial assessments and care planning, documentation and provider communication.
- In addition to overseeing the admissions process, RN Admissions Nurse may also be responsible for:
- Resident transfers and discharges
- Ensure adherence to DOH regulations and guidelines.
- Direct and supervise the day-to-day function of the nursing staff.
- Manage the flow of care.
- Attend nursing leadership meetings.
- All other duties as assigned.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Graduate of approved Registered Nurse (RN) Program.
- 1-2 years experience as a Registered Nurse in acute care/long term care setting is preferred.
- 1-2 years supervisory experience preferred.
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of PA
- Ability to work with a team.
- Ability to adjust to changing conditions and situations.
