Key Responsibilities
Reviews and follows up on any concerns for the residents and staff with all incident reports.- Works with caregivers of the nursing unit and all departments to provide the residents with a fulfilling living experience.
- Keeps supervisor informed of unusual occurrences that relate to the health and safety of residents.
- Oversees care plans, MDS, and quality improvement processes.
- Keeps Admin fully informed of stats, progress and achievements.
- Must have the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors and the general public.
- Must be able and willing to work well with inter-disciplinary teams.
- Any other duties as assigned
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Bachelors Degree in Social work or Human Services.- Previous experience in geriatrics or long term care.
