Job Summary:

Responsibilities:
Manufacturing Operations Management:
Oversee remote manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient production and adherence to schedules.
Develop and implement manufacturing strategies to optimize production processes and reduce costs.
Monitor production performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, including FDA regulations and ISO standards.
Manage inventory levels and ensure timely procurement of materials.
Process Improvement and Quality Control:
Implement and maintain quality control systems to ensure product quality and consistency.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency and reduce waste.
Conduct root cause analysis of manufacturing issues and implement effective solutions.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
Remote Team Leadership:
Manage and mentor remote manufacturing teams, providing guidance and support.
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
Coordinate remote team meetings and ensure effective communication.
Supply Chain Coordination:
Collaborate with supply chain partners to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
Manage relationships with contract manufacturers and other external partners.
Monitor supply chain performance and identify potential risks.
Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare and present regular reports on manufacturing performance and key metrics.
Analyze production data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Develop and manage budgets for manufacturing operations.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing management, preferably in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control systems, and regulatory requirements (FDA, ISO).
Proven experience in leading continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma).
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in using manufacturing software and ERP systems.
Ability to work independently and manage remote teams effectively.
United States Citizenship or Green Card Holder required.
Preferred:
Master's degree in a relevant field.
