Responsibilities :
- Review and verify medical records for accurate coding and billing.
- Prepare and submit clean claims to insurance providers.
- Follow up on denied or underpaid claims to secure maximum reimbursement.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all claims.
- Resolve billing inquiries and disputes with insurance companies and patients.
- Stay updated on industry regulations, coding guidelines, and billing procedures.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical billing and coding.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-10, and CPT codes.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
