We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product & Privacy Counsel to join our growing legal team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development and launch of cutting-edge healthcare products while ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Responsibilities :
Provide legal advice and counsel on a wide range of product development and lifecycle issues, including :
Product strategy and roadmap development
Data privacy and security compliance (e.g., HIPAA, CCPA, GDPR)
Product liability and risk mitigation
Software licensing and intellectual property protection
Regulatory compliance (e.g., FDA, CMS)
Contract negotiation and drafting (e.g., vendor agreements, service agreements)
Conduct legal research and analysis on emerging legal and regulatory issues impacting the healthcare industry.
Advise on the development and implementation of data privacy policies, procedures, and training programs.
Assist with the investigation and resolution of data privacy incidents.
Represent the company in legal and regulatory proceedings as needed.
Stay abreast of the latest legal and regulatory developments in the healthcare industry.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and marketing.
Qualifications :
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Active bar admission in good standing in at least one U.S. state.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant legal experience, with a strong preference for experience in the healthcare industry.
Experience with data privacy and security law, including HIPAA and other applicable regulations.
Experience with product development and lifecycle management.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (both written and oral).
Excellent research and drafting skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
US Citizenship or Green Card Holder required.
