Position Overview :
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sterile Processing Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, sterilization, and proper maintenance of medical instruments and equipment used across various departments. This critical role helps maintain patient safety and supports the effective functioning of our healthcare facility.
Key Responsibilities :
- Sterilization & Decontamination : Process, sterilize, and decontaminate medical instruments, surgical tools, and other equipment following strict guidelines and protocols.
- Equipment Maintenance : Inspect and ensure that all sterilization equipment is functioning properly. Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
- Inventory Management : Track and organize sterilized equipment and supplies to ensure appropriate stock levels are maintained for daily operations.
- Documentation & Compliance : Maintain accurate records of sterilization cycles, inspections, and maintenance. Ensure adherence to infection control procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Quality Assurance : Conduct routine quality control checks on sterilization processes and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Collaboration : Work closely with surgical, nursing, and other healthcare teams to ensure timely availability of sterile instruments for patient care.
