We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Certified Med Tech Trainer to join our team and lead training efforts for personal care staff. This role is vital in ensuring that our team provides exceptional care and that all medications are administered safely and effectively. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth training sessions for new and existing personal care staff on medication administration protocols.
- Ensure staff is fully trained and compliant with state and federal regulations regarding medication handling.
- Provide ongoing support and refresher training to ensure high standards of care.
- Assess and evaluate training effectiveness and make improvements where necessary.
- Stay current on updates to regulations and industry best practices to maintain compliance.
- Serve as a resource for staff regarding medication-related questions and concerns.
- Assist with creating and maintaining training materials and documentation.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Current certification as a Medication Technician (Med Tech) in PA.
- Strong knowledge of medication administration, documentation, and safety protocols.
- Experience in teaching or training others, with the ability to explain complex concepts in an understandable way.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
