Help us continue our important work in renewable energy tracking by joining our team as an Associate Program Analyst.
In this role, you will serve as a program analyst for the Western Renewable Energy Generation Information System (WREGIS) department, responsible for tracking Renewable Energy Certificates (REC) throughout the Western Interconnection, which includes 14 states in the western U.S., two provinces in western Canada, and the northern part of Baja, Mexico. You will provide various data and customer service support to the WREGIS department as we work to serve the needs of over 1,000 customers, including state and provincial regulators, load-serving entities, and generator owners as they work toward their diverse renewable energy goals.
You will—
- Collect and review generator documentation before the approval process to ensure completeness and consistency.
- Act as a subject matter expert for generator documentation and effectively communicate registration requirements to customers.
- Work with customers and colleagues to solve problems for complex set-ups with multiple variables.
- Perform various security-related audits, such as on WREGIS system logins.
- Assist with generator transfers and updates.
- Assist with small-scale generator review and audit processes.
- Assist with system upgrades through user testing.
- Audit generator and organization data.
- Update documents (governance, technical, and process).
- Staff the Helpdesk, including responding to inquiries by email and telephone.
- Implement document control policies and maintain security of confidential information.
- Communicate professionally with all levels of our organization, customers, and stakeholder organizations.
- Act as backup for other staff as needed.

The base salary range for this full-time position is $53,879 - $67,349 discretionary pay benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and mid-point for the position across all locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter will share more details during the hiring process.
