At WECC, we enhance the lives of 80 million people by identifying and mitigating risks to the bulk power system in the West. We are seeking a Senior Data Architect to deliver on our mission of a highly reliable and secure bulk power system in the Western Interconnection.
As WECC's Senior Data Architect you will be responsible for managing our data infrastructure. Including designing, implementing, and maintaining the technical systems and interfaces that store, process, and analyze data within our organization. You will manage the data management frameworks in use, as well as interpret, define and document related business requirements. This role will collaborate with various stakeholders across the organization with the objective of optimizing data utilization and security.
You will-
- Understand and document the breadth of data in use across WECC while establishing master data record needs and key data relationships.
- Establish a 3-to-5-year data strategy including the evaluation and recommendation of applications and tools to support that strategy.
- Ensure that data strategies align with business objectives.
- Manage intricate issues related to data management.
- Design and build an enterprise data management framework.
- Ensure data security and compliance and implement data management processes.
- Build data models and recommend strategies.
- Ensure data hygiene and compliance to data retention standards.

The base salary range for this full-time position is $92,186 - $122,915 discretionary pay benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and mid-point for the position across all locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter will share more details during the hiring process.
