POSITION OVERVIEW
This role reports to the Director of Operations and is responsible for leading a team of 2 to 3 Manufacturing Leads, who oversee 12-18 direct labor employees. The Supervisor oversees all activities related to production, personnel, and workflow of products.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages the production of many different sewn products with diverse fabrication across multiple production lines.
- Achieve a high level of performance by communicating job expectations; planning, coaching, and training employees.
- Manages workflow by monitoring steps of the production process to meet performance expectations and deadlines.
- Maintain accurate and timely productivity data for each job in-process.
- Maintain quality workmanship requirements by enforcing standards and policies.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Performs other duties assigned by management.
REQUIRED SKILL SETS:
- Minimum of 3 years people management experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Access, and SQL
- Ability to work on-site in Haysville, KS
- High school diploma or GED
- OSHA or Forklift certification
Job Type: Full Time, Mon –Thurs. 6:30am – 5:00pm and Fri.6:30am – 11:30am OT Sat as needed.
