Installation Supervisor

Job Summary:
The Installation Supervisor at Wecom Fiber is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of installation teams, specifically supervising S1 and S2 technicians. This role involves ensuring that installation projects are executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. The Installation Supervisor will provide guidance and support to technicians, coordinate activities on job sites, and liaise with other departments to ensure seamless project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily installation operations, ensuring that projects are completed on schedule and within scope.
- Coordinate with project managers and other departments to ensure alignment on project timelines and objectives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and safety regulations during installation activities.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of work performed by technicians to ensure high-quality standards are met.
- Address and resolve any issues that arise on job sites, including technical challenges and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with the installation team to develop solutions that optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate records of installation activities, including work orders, job site reports, and inventory management.
- Prepare and submit regular reports to management on project progress, challenges, and technician performance.
- Promote a culture of safety within the installation team, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
- Conduct safety meetings and training sessions to keep technicians informed about best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Serve as a point of contact for clients regarding installation-related inquiries, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Gather feedback from clients to identify areas for improvement in installation services.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in telecommunications or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the telecommunications or broadband industry, with prior supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of fiber optic installation techniques and best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and handle multiple priorities.
- Proficient in using installation tools, equipment, and software.
