Job Summary
We are seeking a Construction Supervisor to support the Subsequent License Renewal (SLR) Major Project management team at Surry Power Station.
The successful candidate will have 7 years of nuclear industry experience in construction, engineering, with a minimum of 3 years demonstrated experience in project management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all projects are executed with Safety and Environmental Compliance as the primary focus.
- Manage specific phases of major projects, including business development support, site development, permitting support, scope development, contract negotiations, engineering, procurement, and construction contracts.
- Lead improvement projects, including permitting, contract negotiations, engineering contracts, construction contracts, construction activities, and commissioning.
- Manage projects ranging from major complex projects to smaller improvement projects in existing generating facilities.
Requirements:
- 7 years of nuclear industry experience in construction, engineering, with a minimum of 3 years demonstrated experience in project management.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Nuclear Utility Project Management Experience is mandatory.
- Ability to work onsite at Surry Power Station is required.
- Experience leading large capital projects full life cycle at a Nuclear Power Station.
- Ability to develop, manage, and monitor project performance to ensure results meet project requirements, budgets, and schedules.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate the resolution of technical problems and implement changes.
- Experience working with, leading, and coordinating HVAC/chiller projects.
