Our Investment Banking Group is seeking an Associate to join our team. Associates will work on a variety of financial advisory assignments and will have opportunities to take on significant responsibility from day one. You will get early exposure to executive level clients while working alongside Wall Street veterans.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide transaction support to senior bankers on a broad range of corporate finance transactions including IPOs, secondary offerings, private placements, mergers & acquisitions
- Plan, structure and execute financing transactions in the public and private markets
- Financial analysis and modeling; conduct industry and market research
- Assist in preparation of company marketing and transactions materials; prepare client presentations; perform due diligence
- Analyze financial statements, review and assess business plans, and manage day-to-day contact with clients and related parties
- Advising corporations on mergers and acquisitions
- Interact with clients during presentations and deal executions
- Perform other duties as required and assigned
Experience and Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University, preferably in Economics, Business, Accounting or related field
- MBA preferred
- Minimum 2 years of investment banking experience
- Current FINRA Series 79, 63 licenses required
- Highly proficient in financial statement analysis
- Advanced quantitative and analytical skills, ideally with understanding of valuation techniques
- Well-versed in corporate finance, accounting principles, financial statement analysis and financial modeling
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication (verbal and written, internal and client-facing) and presentation skills
- Highly organized and able to multi-task; manage multiple projects and competing priorities without sacrificing accuracy or efficiency

Decisions regarding compensation are determined on a case-by-case basis and are dependent on a variety of factors including but not limited to location; skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current hiring range is $125,000.
