Wedbush Securities is one of the nation's largest full-service investment banking and brokerage firms. Our New York and Los Angeles offices are seeking interns to support our team of sell-side Equity Research Analysts and Associates covering various sectors.
We are specifically seeking current college students with strong work ethic who have excelled academically as well as in their communities and extracurricular activities. The reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic location. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $20.00 hour . Colleagues may be eligible for additional , discretionary incentive compensation based on the colleague's and the firm's performance. At Wedbush, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at, or near, the top of the range for their role. Decisions regarding compensation are determined on a case-by-case basis and are dependent on a variety of factors including but not limited to location; skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Build company-specific financial and valuation models
- Assist in gathering information from proprietary sources
- Synthesize research to write company and industry report
- Provide general support to the equity research team
- Conduct company research, industry due diligence, and other projects as assigned
- Create initiation reports and financial models
- Perform other tasks and duties as required and assigned
- Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited U.S. college or university
- Superb quantitative and analytical skills
- Exceptionally strong verbal and written communication skills
- Able to maintain a high degree of accuracy a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Able to work independently as well as within a team and prioritize daily work flow with little direction
- Advanced Excel skills required
- Strong work ethic and academic achievement
- A passion for the securities industry
- U.S. Citizen/Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder) required
