Our Operations Division is looking for a Client Settlements Specialist to immediately join our team. This position is responsible for the settlement and balancing of mutual funds.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assist with handling incoming and outgoing physical certificates (e.g., deposit, re-registration, delivery), coordinate with transfer agents, and manage inventory control of stocks, bonds, statements, and warrants
- Demonstrate proficiency in FIS Securities Processing and Schwab Clearing Gateway to facilitate settlement and security transfer processes
- Coordinate with financial advisors regarding client account networking, linking, and the depositing of certificates, mutual funds, 529 plans, and annuities
- Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and clients to ensure seamless security transactions
- Monitor incoming and outgoing automated customer account transfer service (ACATS) acceptances and rejections
- Work with the Agency Desk to manage mutual fund trade corrections, cancellations, settlements, re-billings, and calculate resulting gains and losses
- Reconcile discrepancies between Wedbush’s stock record and DTCC balances
- Perform other duties and tasks as required and assigned
Experience and Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience
- Hands-on experience with DTCC settlement functions required
- Experience with SunGard Phase 3 and BETA preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, able to prioritize tasks and work independently
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills

The reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic location. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $26.00/hr to $33.65/hr . Colleagues may be eligible for additional , discretionary incentive compensation based on the colleague's and the firm's performance.
