Position Summary
The Store Leader position is a high-profile leadership position that is responsible for the store’s overall direction, coordination, operation and success. The Store Leader will ensure the store meets or exceeds financial goals, while providing remarkable leadership in areas of customer service, team member relations, sales, and operational performance.
This position will provide daily support to a team of 5-7 team members and offer ongoing leadership, motivation and development. They are responsible for recruiting, coaching, training, communication, alignment, and holding team members accountable to the Wedding Day Way expectations. The Store Leader will also act as the store ambassador to provide each client with an unforgettable experience.
This role will report directly to the General Managers.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs daily inspections and tasks to ensure all areas of the store are clean, organized, and following protocol(s).
- Monitors and analyzes financial and operational KPIs to identify areas of opportunity and set the store up for consistently strong performance.
- Meets one-on-one weekly with each team member to ensure KPI’s are followed and offers coaching and support to drive success.
- Provides effective individual performance evaluations and recognition programs and awards.
- Authorizes new hires, promotions, employee status change and terminations with General Managers.
- Presents their stores performance, trends, areas of opportunity to leadership team regularly and collaborates on strategies to drive long-term growth for the store and company.
Position Requirements
- HS graduate or equivalent
- 5 years of experience in retail or hospitality industries
- 5 years of management experience
- 5 years managing sales targets
- Experience providing high-end customer service and managing customer concerns
- Track record of success in a performance driven work environment
- Excellent interviewing skills
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, and climb.
- Proven ability to collaboratively develop and implement new sales strategies
- Ability to work in an ambiguous and rapidly changing work environment
- Strong analytical, reasoning and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Business or related field
- Jewelry and Diamond experience
- Experience managing team members
- Experience managing 3M in top live revenue
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
