What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Assistant/Sterilization Tech position at Weddington Family Dentistry?
We are looking for an enthusiastic dental assistant/sterilization tech who loves building and maintaining positive relationships with patients. Your primary role is to provide excellent support to the dentist and monitor a clean and safe sterilization area.
Skills/ Abililities
- Provide exceptional customer service, with excellent chair-side manner, while demonstrating teamwork
- Review patient charts, document appropriate patient information and health history during the exam and treatment, and ensure all necessary consent forms are completed prior to treatment.
- Ability to take, develop and “mount” accurate, high- quality radiographs/intra-oral photos.
- Clean, sterilize and prepare the equipment and operatory, prior to and after a patient’s appointment
- Assist in educating the patients and address their questions and/or concerns to help them feel more comfortable
- Maintain a clean and safe sterilization area
Office Hours
Monday-Thursday 7:00am-3:00pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 per week
