Job Summary:
The Made to Stock (MTS) Supervisor is responsible for managing and improving the efficiency, safety, and quality of preparations. The Supervisor is expected to collaborate with various departments and personnel in optimizing and producing anticipatory and extemporaneous prescription compounds according to production schedules and Proc. The Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the technology and methods used to produce these compounds are of the highest safety, quality, and productivity standards while continuously improving the compounding processes. The Supervisor is responsible for ensuring all applicable laws, regulations, and standard operating procedures are adhered to within the department.

- The hours for this position is Monday - Friday 10:00 am- 6:30 pm
What you’ll do:
- Ensure team members possess superior task knowledge and are optimally allocated to department job functions in order to meet daily and shift production goals.
- Hire, develop, assess, and schedule team members based on the Operation Analysts recommendations.
- Collaborate with the Operations Training department and Operation Analyst in ensuring training materials are applicable and current based on business demands.
- Collaborate with company departments and personnel in constructing, optimizing, and executing against production plans.
- Develop, monitor, and exceed departmental production, safety, and quality metrics.
- Implement and adapt process and technology improvement changes.
- Collaborate with peers and managers in recommending departmental processes, staff, and technology improvements.
- Diagnose and remedy production and personnel issues.
- Ensure all quality, safety, and regulatory controls are functioning as designed.
- Communicate production issues as appropriate.
- Effectively communicate company and department goals, strategies, and plans to staff.
- Understand and perform all job tasks (as required) within the departments.
- Have a general understanding of the Supervisor day-to-day tasks in MTS and Pack Lab/O2

- Complete huddles, monthly one-on-ones, mid-year and end-of-year performance reviews for direct reports.

- Addresses employee performance issues by devising, implementing, and monitoring corrective action plans.

- Supervisory experience preferred.
What you’ve done:
- 2 – 4 years’ work experience in a relevant work environment.
- NJ licensed Pharmacy Technician.
- BS/BA degree preferred.
- Pharmacy experience preferred.
