The responsibility of the Temporary Receiving Associate is to facilitate the receipt of various supplies, chemicals, and packing materials. This includes but is not limited to : the accurate and timely processing of paperwork, administrative functions related to receipts, put away of receipts, research, and interdepartmental contact.
When will you work?
- The hours for this position are Mon-Fri 8 : 30 am – 5 : 00 pm
What you’ll do :
Ensure the accurate receipt and logging of received materials; receive and inspect external packaging of all incoming shipments. Notify delivery personnel and procurement of any apparent shipping damage.Verify incoming shipments against the original purchase order and the accompanying vendor’s bill of lading or packing slip / invoice; report and document all shortages or damages to designated procurement staff member.Deliver received items to their designated location, following company policy or Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) handling regulations, in the proper manner.Notify designated lab personnel of receipt of priority goods and materials.Prepare shipments for returns to vendors by completing packing lists, bills of lading, and other required shipping documentation; deliver materials and shipping documentation for return processing to shipping department.Receive and coordinate returned shipments of Wedgewood Pharmacy’s finished goods with the Customer Care department for processing.Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area. Safely and adequately handle equipment required for the job and maintain safety awareness in the execution of the job.Support all facets of Wedgewood Pharmacy’s operations as necessary to ensure high-quality customer service and effective workflow within the organization.Maintain documented systems for receiving and inventory control as directed.Label incoming items as determined by the Receiving SOPAway items to raw material storageWork closely with members of the dispensing and procurement teamsWho you are :
