Nursing Home Food Service Director
Wedgewood Rehab and The Brook at High FAlls are offering an opportunity to become a part of our management team.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the food service/meal for residents, employees and visitors.
- Develop, manage and maintain food service policies and procedures in accordance with DOH rules and regulations and administrative directives.
- Reviews menus
- Supervises the handling, preparation, and storage of food.
- Oversees equipment maintenance, record keeping and all sanitation activities.
- Provides input in strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility.
- May give input into developing the budget.
- Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.
Requirements:
- Must be ServeSafe Food Protection Manager Certified
- Management Experience
Salary:
$50,000 - $55,000 annually
