What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wedding Venue Facility Maintenance position at Wedgewood Weddings?
Wedgewood Weddings is seeking Venue Facility Attendants to keep our event venues in excellent condition and ensure a clean, welcoming environment for guests. This hands-on role is perfect for individuals with janitorial, landscaping, maintenance, or light construction skills. While experience in repairs and construction is ideal, a major focus will be on cleaning tasks to maintain our ceremony and reception spaces as well as other common areas such as the bar and restrooms.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, bar areas, and other guest spaces to ensure a spotless experience for all visitors.
- Planting flowers in springs and trees in winter
- General landscaping maintenance, snow removal and cleaning of outdoor sites
- Assist with general repairs and light maintenance when needed, including plumbing, carpentry, and electrical tasks.
- Support the setup and breakdown of furniture and equipment for events.
- Perform daily trash removal and maintain tidy grounds.
- Adhere to safety standards to keep the venue safe for guests and employees.
- Respond to occasional emergencies and address last-minute needs during events.
- Additional tasks as assigned by the General Manager, Regional Manager, or Director of Facilities.
