What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr eCommerce Specialist position at Wedgewood?
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Senior eCommerce Specialist to join our growing digital team. In this role, you will drive the performance, growth, and optimization of our eCommerce platforms. You’ll own the execution of promotions, campaigns and taxonomy to maximize sales, and improve user experience.
When will you work?
- This role can be considered remote. Our preference is by one of our home offices in Portland, ME or Swedesboro, NJ
What you’ll do:
- Support the launch of a new enterprise ecommerce platform including taxonomy design, product display, promotion functionality, user flows and more
- Partner with internal stakeholders and engineering team to gather requirements needed to support product launch, data integrations and overall business requirements for B2B
- Manage and optimize the day-to-day operations of the eCommerce platform(s) including product listings, promotions, pricing, and site merchandising.
- Troubleshoot and resolve site performance issues in coordination with internal or external tech teams.
- Work directly with operation teams to optimize product displays, overall conversion and ensure product data integrity
- Serve as the bridge between clients and internal teams (development, marketing, sales, customer service) to deliver seamless site experiences
- Assist in UAT for new development implementations to ensure a positive user experience
- Execute, organize, and maintain product tagging structure and taxonomy to optimize site metrics by increasing conversion, AOV, and other KPIs
- Be a key member of the ecommerce product team and mentor junior team members and support leadership in strategic planning initiatives.
- Provide monthly reporting on performance metrics and user shopping behavior
- Support customer service and sales on ticket escalations and enhancement requests as needed
- Perform regular site audits for quality and experience to improve the customer experience

- A data-driven, tech savvy professional who is passionate about digital commerce trends.
What you’ve done:
- 4-6 years of experience in ecommerce
- Strong knowledge of eCommerce platforms (e.g., Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce,)
- Experience with UX/UI principles and CRO tools like Hotjar, Optimizely, or similar.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills evaluating complex data and market research
