Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent driving skills, a strong commitment to customer service, and the ability to handle various delivery tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and trucks, to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload products from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and care of items.
• Navigate routes effectively while adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating professionally with clients during deliveries.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
• Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including organizing inventory and operating equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts.

Skills

• Proven experience as a courier or van driver is preferred.
• Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety protocols.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Experience in loading and unloading goods efficiently while minimizing damage.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.

Drivers are paid a competitive hourly wage along with tips from customers, and a mileage reimbursement that we pay via 7.5% - 8.75% of the delivered sales a driver makes. The tips and mileage reimbursement the driver makes are paid in CASH at the end of every shift and W-2 paychecks come via direct deposit every other week. Average hourly pay with tips varies around $15 - $20 / hour.

Delivery drivers primary task is to deliver food orders to our customers in a safe, courteous and efficient manner, however we also train our drivers to answer phones to take customer orders and help with some food prep, order preparation and cleaning.

Flexible day and/or night time hours available. Driver position can be full time or part time, and we are able to accommodate various employee scheduling needs as either a 2nd job, work around school, etc.

Driver Qualifications:

* Must be at least 18 years old

* Have safe, reliable motor vehicle in good mechanical condition

* Have valid drivers license and auto insurance

* Provide a 3 year MVR showing a good (not necessarily great) driving record
