Wedy is an AI-powered booking platform that bundles venues and vendors into turnkey wedding packages. The company gained national recognition for hosting the world's first Shark Tank wedding with Kevin O'Leary as the officiant. Wedy was recently featured on Forbes, and is proudly backed by Techstars NYC powered by J.P. Morgan.


Our AI agents turn messy vendor catalogs into bookable packages while automating pricing and inventory for venues and vendors. Instead of toggling filters on outdated sites like TheKnot, couples now search using natural language or image recognition, “I need a venue that allows dogs in Malibu next spring,” or upload their vision board and ask, “Who can help me pull this off?”


We’re building the infrastructure for a $2.1T events industry through dynamic pricing, real-time vendor availability, and stunning listings that make planning intuitive and joyful.


The future of the wedding industry is happening right now, and we are leading this moment by helping vendors (venues, photographers, florists etc) earn meaningful income doing what they love! 


💼 The Role: Sales & Event Coordinator

Think of this role as a network planner for the wedding industry. You’ll scout unique venues, build lasting relationships, onboard vendors, and craft curated proposals that bring couples’ visions to life — all while helping local businesses grow.

🔥 What You’ll Do
  • Onboard new venues and vendors while hitting monthly sales quotas
  • Manage the full sales cycle — from qualifying and pitching to closing
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with venue partners and vendors
  • Convert leads into clients using Wedy’s proposal builder and booking tools
  • Maintain up-to-date venue and vendor information for internal visibility
  • Respond promptly to leads via email, text, and follow-ups (within a 6–12 hr window) *speed is key*
  • Actively promote Wedy to venues, vendors, and potential customers
  • Track weekly metrics like booking link sends and conversion rates


🧠 You Should Have
  • 1 year in sales (required)
  • Experience in weddings, event production, or hospitality (required)
  • 1 year in venue management (preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Familiarity with Canva, Spreadsheets, and CRM tools
  • A data-driven mindset and strong follow-through
  • The ability to juggle multiple conversations and timelines efficiently

  • Experience marketing to wedding professionals or SMBs
  • Obsessed with growth and building things while not being afraid to get your hands dirty
  • Familiarity with startup life — you thrive in fast-moving, build-as-you-go environments
  • Comfort with testing sales channels and iterating quickly
  • A knack for turning a brand story into a pitch vendors actually feel excited about
  • A “get it done” attitude and a love for making magic happen behind the scenes
