Looking for energetic individuals, with compassion and a desire to make children's lives better, to work our 6 week summer session., with toddlers and preschool students. Each of our classrooms has a team of 4 adults, that work with a mix of typically developing students and students with special needs. Candidate will be working as part of this classroom team and will need to be an independent thinker, yet work well with others. Can take direction from the Special Education teacher and management. Willing to learn behavior management techniques that mesh with "the pyramid model". Our school calendar follows the Orchard Park School District Calendar for school days. Hours will be approximately 8:15A-2:15 P. Must be willing to be fingerprinted and have a background check.

• assists with lessons in the classroom
• good role model for students and other staff
• assists children with various tasks: eating, bathroom use, art activities, play skills, keeping environment in the classroom clean
• takes direction from supervisors
• supervision of children to maintain a safe environment AT ALL TIMES
• have reliable transportation to work

Position is summer only, part time, hourly, at will employee. Hourly rate, based on experience.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 27.5 – 30 per week
