What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Support Provider / Behavior Tech - Buckeye position at Wee Care Corp?
Wee Care has been proudly serving families in our community and surrounding areas since 2006. We offer home and community based services and therapy services to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to achieve and maintain their highest level of independence.
We currently have immediate needs for direct support providers to work with several individuals in the Buckeye area.
13 year old Female requires support with her daily Attendant Care and Respite needs Desired Schedule is Monday through Friday 4pm-7pm; Sunday 2pm-7pm
- Ideal Candidate should have behavioral experience. Must have or be willing to attend behavioral support training.
12 year old Female and 4 year old Male in need of Respite support. Ideal candidate would support both individuals at the same time. Two days per week and occasional weekend.
15 year old Male in need of Respite support after 4pm on weekdays and flexible schedule for weekends.
The ideal candidates would have working or personal experience providing support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and be committed to their health and safety. Motivation to make a positive impact in the life of another individual is important for this position. Direct Support Providers should promote self-esteem with the individuals they support and be an advocate for them.
Direct Support Provider will support the individual with their daily living skills and goals, which may include feeding, bathing, oral hygiene, incontinent care, transfers and transportation.
Direct Support Provider will support the individual in their home and in the community.
