As a teacher at Wee Care Early Learning Ministry, you play a vital role in providing high-quality, faith-based education while fostering the social, emotional, and spiritual development of young children. Below are the key responsibilities for this position:

• Safe and Nurturing Environment:
• Create a welcoming, organized, and safe classroom environment.
• Conduct daily health and safety checks and address any concerns.
• Curriculum Implementation:
• Use Creative Curriculum to plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons that align with weekly themes and children's interests.
• Prepare materials in advance and submit lesson plans weekly.
• Learning Centers:
• Maintain and update 10 learning centers to enhance literacy, math, and creative exploration.
• Assessment and Individualization:
• Use TS Gold to assess children's progress and adjust instruction to meet individual needs.
• Faith Integration:
• Incorporate Bible stories, prayers, and Christian values into daily activities.
• Play-Based Learning:
• Use play to encourage exploration, creativity, and achievement of developmental goals.
• Classroom Management and Social-Emotional Growth:
• Foster positive behavior and teach conflict resolution using proactive strategies.
• Encourage independence, emotional regulation, and collaboration.
• Parent Communication:
• Maintain regular communication with families through daily updates, conferences, and discussions about progress.
• Professionalism and Development:
• Complete 20 hours of annual training and participate in professional development days, open houses, and family nights.
• Reflect on teaching practices and maintain professionalism in all aspects of the role.
• End-of-Day Routine:
• Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and within ratio before leaving.
