Summary
Huntingdon First Baptist Church is seeking a full-time WEE Care director for their weekday early education program. Duties
Position Summary & Objective:
The WEE Care Director is responsible for the day-to-day operations of our WEE Care
program. The director will ensure that WEE Care operates according to the educational and
safety standards set by the state of Tennessee and in accordance with policies set by the
WEE Care Board of Directors.
Requirements
Qualifications: The WEE Care Director should demonstrate the joy of a conversion
experience and an everyday walk with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. This person should have a
basic knowledge of child development and basic administrative skills. A love of and a
concern for both children and adults are essential for effective leadership. The WEE Care
Director should develop knowledge, skills, and ability through formal training and personal
reading. The WEE Care Director must understand and utilize all software systems required
for functionality and will need competency in using word processing, Excel, and email for
communication.
Preference will be given to candidates with college degrees and TECTA certificates.
