Building Maintenance/Porter

Job Summary
The DAYTIME 10am - 7pm, Wednesday - Sunday, building porter position is essential for ensuring the functionality and cleanliness of our clients facilities.

This role involves performing a variety of maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and providing exceptional customer service to ensure a well-maintained environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to details, strong observation skills are a plus, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Duties

• Conduct routine inspections of buildings and facilities to identify maintenance needs.
• Perform multiple types of cleaning tasks and maintenance tasks at various properties.
• Utilize tools such as extension dusters, brooms, brushes to remove cobwebs and bugs on building exteriors.
• Sanitization chemicals on refuse containers and cigarette trays.
• Use a debris picker to remove debris from garden beds and facilities grounds.
• Window cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns promptly and professionally.
• Identify damage on the facility buildings and notifying management with documentation.

Skills

• Proficient in janitorial practices.
• Ability to operate a scissor lift or be trained on such equipment will be needed.
• Able to climb a ladder above 6ft.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with management and staff.

This position requires a proactive individual who is detail-oriented and committed to maintaining a safe and functional environment for all building occupants.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
