Cashier Host/Hostess

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to manage guest relations effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using the Aloha POS system.
• Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions.
• Assist with guest inquiries and ensure their needs are met promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
• Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy.
• Support food service operations as needed, including assisting with takeout orders.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
• Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus.
• Ability to multitask in a busy restaurant environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A friendly demeanor with a genuine desire to help others and enhance their dining experience.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant schedule.
