Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
- Provide legal advice and representation in various areas of law including Civil Litigation and Family Law.
- Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and client management.
- Attend court hearings and mediations as necessary to represent clients effectively.
- Maintain organized case files and documentation to ensure compliance with legal standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates on their cases and answer any inquiries.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the California bar.
- 3-5 years experience in a law office setting
- Knowledge of Litigation and Family Law is highly desirable.
- Background in Estate Planning and/or Tax Law is also a plus but not required.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly.
- Proficient negotiation skills with a focus on achieving favorable outcomes for clients.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for conducting thorough legal research.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple cases efficiently.
